The fact that Unreal doesnt have an official master server replacement is strange, though, since all Unreal Tournament games were migrated to a different server once GameSpy went down. At first I though it was my NIC, sound card, etc. Get a LAN emulator like Evolve or Hamachi. Yes, I found it odd that VSync would play a role in this, but it did work on my system and I don't know why. I don't know how to do this on NVIDIA hardware you'd know better than I. Try disabling VSync on your hardware and see if it makes a difference. I beleive that this disabled VSync for Glide and some other function. I'm running a dual V2 SLI setup.įirst off, I had to set the following Glide environment variables as such: I don't know if this will help since you're all running different/newer video cards, but maybe you can adapt my fix to your configuration.
